Shortly after five o'clock I felt a little unwell with a desire to vomit and some pain in my abdomen. I could not eat any of the supper, except the soup. Miss Kleiner was very kind and gave up her lecture so that she could stay with me.
But I am feeling better now, I have eaten an egg and I have only a small pain left. I hope to sleep well until tomorrow and to find my body in a more reasonable state – I dislike this mood of mine too much! Getting well is my dream.

Bald nach 5 Uhr fühlte ich mich etwas schlecht mit Spei-Gefühl und etwas Schmerz im Unterleib. Das Abendessen konnte ich nicht essen, außer der Suppe. Frl. Kleiner war sehr nett und verzichtete auf den Vortrag, damit sie bei mir bleiben konnte.
Jetzt geht es aber besser, ich habe ein Ei gegessen, und habe nur noch ein Schmerzlein. Ich hoffe, bis morgen gut zu schlafen und den Leib vernünftiger vorzufinden - diese Laune mißfällt mir allzusehr! Gesundwer den ist mein Traum.
